EARTHALIVE COMMUNICATIONS INC is an independent multimedia production and distribution company located in Fairfax, California. John Veltri, EARTHALIVE’s director - co-producer, has over 35 years expertise in professional photography and documentary filmmaking, and has written and photographically illustrated numerous books. His knowledge of media, understanding of indigenous perspectives and years of experience in working with elders and teachers from many different cultures is the foundation of the company. Marguerite Lorimer, John’s partner in life and business, is EARTHALIVE’s co-producer - photographer.

EARTHALIVE media is infused with the inspiring lives and wisdom of indigenous cultural leaders and wisdom elders. Each indigenous cultural representative, ceremonial leader and wisdom elder carries a specific, regional and global awareness. As wise interpreters of Natural Law and accurate record keepers of events, methods and traditions that have been passed down for generations through stories, song, dance, art, ceremony and environmental practices, these people hold a special key to the health and survival of humanity.

In response to growing human and environmental crises, more and more indigenous teachers, elders and leaders are reaching out, sharing their wisdom and offering solutions to individual, community and global problems. They offer their art; their practical, age-old methods of healing; and their ways of growing, gathering and preparing healthy food. They teach us to live with respect for all living things, how to play, and how to overcome fear. They speak about the importance of kindness and listening, acceptance, love and forgiveness. They teach us how to honor the elderly and care for the young. Some share ancient prophesies. All speak about the importance of creating sustainable peace on Earth.

These courageous warriors, highly-skilled artisans, teachers, ceremonial leaders, caretakers and medicine people have given much and are still giving. We all benefit from the bounty of their gifts. If we listen very carefully to what they have to say, we may finally understand how to create sustainable peace in our world. We are honored to help them bring out their valuable messages.
